Hanisha Thirth began her career as a Dream-Catalyst in Dream:IN (A grass root project in India organized by Parson New School of Design) focusing on handicraft revival and transformations in the Indian Subcontinent. After graduating as an architect, she founded Design Bank to add practice value to spatial inquiries. She approached spatial design with an aim to stage stories. The products of Design Bank, therefore, explored the engagement of physical reality and conceptual possibility, with narratives scaling from residences, housing and community spaces. Initiatives drawn from balance and simplicity scaled Design Bank - design footprint from eight thousand square feet to two million square feet within a short span of three years. She is also an educator, advocate for construction labor rights and worked as researcher at Graduate School of Design, Harvard.
